Frequently Asked Questions
-
No. Minerva Society Introductions is designed exclusively for friendship.
-
Each participant receives up to three curated introduction rounds. So you can try again with someone new if your first introduction match doesn’t work out.
You’ll also be added to the Society Pool after your curated three round cycle, meaning you’ll get periodical matching recommendations.
-
Most friendship platforms focus on making introductions. We focus on helping friendships develop beyond them.
Every application is reviewed by a real person and matched thoughtfully based on interests, lifestyle, personality, social preferences and the type of friendship being sought. We take a highly curated approach rather than relying solely on algorithms or self-selection.
Unlike many friendship apps and social platforms, each participant receives up to three curated introduction rounds. If the first introduction doesn’t feel like the right fit, the journey doesn’t end there. We continue working to facilitate meaningful connections through your remaining rounds.
Once accepted, participants also remain within our Society pool, allowing us to consider them for future compatible introductions as new women join the service. There are no monthly subscription fees and no ongoing costs.
Minerva Society Introductions also benefits from being part of the wider Minerva ecosystem. Through Minerva Arts Supper Club, we have already attracted a growing community of thoughtful, ambitious and culturally curious women with a genuine desire to build new friendships and shared experiences.
Our aim is not simply to help women meet. It is to create the conditions in which meaningful friendship can grow.

No. We also offer our Explorer pathway for women visiting London, relocating or spending time in the city.

No. Personal contact information is only shared with your permission.
-
The £45 one-time administration fee helps cover the time involved in reviewing applications, assessing compatibility, coordinating introductions, facilitating meetings and providing follow-up support.
Unlike many friendship apps, Minerva Society Introductions takes a highly curated, hands-on approach to helping women build meaningful connections.
The fee also allows us to maintain a considered introductions pool rather than operating as a volume-based platform. Our focus is on thoughtful compatibility, meaningful introductions and long-term friendship potential rather than unlimited swiping or automated matching.

-
No. While we carefully curate introductions and strive to facilitate meaningful connections, genuine friendship ultimately depends on the individuals involved. Our role is to create the conditions in which friendship has the best opportunity to develop.
-
Many introductions develop naturally after the initial meetings. However, your profile may continue to remain within the Minerva Society Introductions pool after your initial allocation has been used.
As new women join the service, we may identify future compatible introductions and reach out if we believe there is strong alignment.
Participants may also be invited to future Minerva Society gatherings, events and opportunities as the community grows.
Our goal is not simply to facilitate introductions, but to help build a long-term community of thoughtful women seeking meaningful friendship.
